Jimmy and Meghann are such a wonderful couple… they are soooo obviously very much in love and absolutely perfect for each other. I couldn’t have had a better time working with these two. They wanted their wedding to feel very thirties, and did a great job of making that happen. There were lots of creative little touches that I’ve not seen before, and Meghann made several of these herself. We did their engagement session in Joplin earlier this year and their wedding was held in Meghann’s hometown of Arkansas City, Kansas. Arkansas City was a beautiful town filled with old architecture, and from many of the conversations I overheard a lot of the families had lived in the town since it was a tent city. Everyone was so friendly, and I feel truly honored to have been there to photograph their wedding. Thank you both so much 🙂
The flowers were amazing:
This is the same altar where Meghann was baptized as a baby:
Then we had a little time for some bridal portraits in the smaller chapel
Not bubbles, not rice… LAVENDAR! What a beautiful idea!!
Meghann’s sister, Emily, caught the bouquet:
The couple on the left are coworkers of Jimmy and Meghann’s… and set them up on their first date 🙂
