Sam and Daniel’s backyard wedding was absolutely full of love, laughter, and incredibly thoughtful details! These two live in Canada, but came home to Sam’s parents’ to get married. When I arrived a couple of Saturday mornings ago, their family and friends were still deciding where to set up the arbor (decorated with the most gorgeous flowers from Linda’s Flowers) and chairs for 18 guests. Second only to a mountain elopement, this kind of wedding is my dream wedding! 🙂 Sam finished getting ready in her mom and dad’s bedroom, and Daniel got ready next door at her aunt and uncle’s house. Around 10:30, everyone gathered for the ceremony as Sam’s dad drove her up in his classic Mercedes convertible. After a sweet ceremony, we took a few portraits and met everyone inside for toasts and delicious cakes by Amycakes. The sunroom was incredible… decorated with a rainbow of paper cranes (1,048 I believe is the number) folded with care by Sam’s mom. After cake and toasts, everyone hung out in the backyard for a pool party. The perfect celebration! Congrats, you two! 🙂
