Taylor and Madeline are an incredibly fun couple. They were married on a warm, sunny day last September in the backyard of Madeline’s grandparents home that sits high on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River in Hermann, Missouri. Fun fact: when Taylor proposed it was with a ring he made years before in high school, and it fit Madeline perfectly! Hermann is known for its wineries, and Madeline’s family owns Stone Hill Winery – so of course we took advantage of the opportunity to take couple portraits in and around the winery 🙂 Madeline’s Ivy and Aster gown was absolutely gorgeous and complemented the style of their wedding perfectly. The wildflowers were grown by Madeline’s dad and arranged by family members. The couple asked their grandmothers to be flower girls, and Millie (their dog) was ringbearer. After their vows, guests enjoyed cocktails, local roast pig, summer vegetables from Stone Hill’s restaurant and pies from local baker Knead More Love. Just after the sun set, Taylor and Madeline danced beneath string lights to Come Rain or Come Shine by the St. Louis Variety Band.
